Real CabDrivers
Apparently drive pink cabs. On the heels of my blog about taxi cab colors, I saw a pink cab today. Not the bright, flurescent pink that was on my walls as a kid, but a darker, somewhat less girlish pink.But pink nevertheless.
And yes, a male driver.
I loved it! Men - stand up for your right to drive pink!

Hi - First I apologize for posting a comment unrelated to pink cabs. I'm hoping you're an expert on the cab rules in DC, and that you can help me clear my conscience!? In the last month or so I've had two different cab drivers tell my friends and I that if one of us wanted to get out along the way they were obligated to let us do that free of charge (so long as it doesn't cause them to stray from the original course). So then tonight a friend and I are in a cab heading toward my work, but then my friend decides to get out at her apartment, which happens to be right on the way. When we get to my work he tries to charge me the fare to take her to her apartment plus an additional trip to my work. I tried to explain the rule as it had been told to me, but he wasn't hearing it. In the end I only paid him according to what I understood to be the rule - ie, as if it were one trip, since we didn't deviate from the original course. I feel bad that the guy was angry about it though. Do you know if that is really the rule?

Well over here if the final fare was 30 and the first person paid 20 then its 10 more from the second person.
Look the first person passes the money to the remaining passenger.
Strictly speaking the first stop (2 people)first person pays 1/2 whats on the meter then the second person pays the final balance.
